Has anybody got any information they can share on the other versions yet to be revealed?

I’ve been offered one of the 70’s from my dealer and I am tempted but don’t want to regret in case I prefer any of the ‘to be revealed’ editions.

I promised myself this year I would add my first Monaco to my collection but want it to be the ‘right’ one.

Thanks if anyone can share anything

I have seen the other editions by photographs, I can only say that to my liking also to the taste of my AD, the edition of the 70 'is the most successful of all. you have to think that it has that vintage and retro style of the 70 'and the only one that comes together with the presentation of the Monaco Grand Prix. I only bought this edition because it is so special, I will not buy the others. at least it's my opinion.

See, this is the perfect example of why we shouldn't look at leaked pics, look how rubbish it looked here, and BROWN!

Perhaps true.....

I didn't go back and look at the leaked photograph until you posted it. I think the brown looks better than the green!

I think I need to see one in the flesh.

I'm intrigued about the 80's version. And the possibility for it being neon pink and blue!

Yeah, grey background with pastel coloured geometric shapes.....😀

Seeing things in the flesh is always a good move, I saw those 5 new Autavias today, and they look a lot nicer than I thought.

I've also seen all 5, albeit via a crappy photo, so I'm waiting to see each reveal before making a decision. I agree that this first one is probably the most unique and most retro looking of all 5 versions. The dial treatment is certainly quite interesting and I'm sure all that dig its looks will be very happy. For me, it's really more about the colors; green, brown, yellow & orange just isn't my thing.

The Monaco 50s are all special, but for my taste, not sure if any of them actually top the current Calibre 11 Blue or Gulf models in terms of pure looks, neither of which I own yet.

I like it (and the box). It is $8600, here in Australia, which seems steep even considering the limited nature. I'm sure it will sell out worldwide though. Looking forward to seing the 80s version.

£5350 in UK, only £600 more than the latest Gulf and £550 less than the Grey 150th Heuer Monaco.
So I think its excellent value, just need to get hold of one of them lol

excellent value
Not sure I agree with that conclusion though... all Monacos are priced a bit too high I think

Definitely agree just meant it's priced well for the range. I'm sure if they asked £8,000 they would still sell out but I suppose it keeps them exclusive lol

I’d have happily paid £10k for one with the vintage style pushers & retro packaging 🙁

The question is, are there 168 other people prepared to do the same?

As I said before, for me the most beautiful and exclusive edition is that of the 1969-1979 decade. a few months ago when I could see the 5 editions, I remember that the one I liked the least was the edition of the 80 or 90, I do not remember very well, which made reference to Ferrari and was red, to my liking it was the least pretty of all.

Maybe not 10K in sterling but a hearty premium...yes I would.
Maybe Squadrone Rosso they could make a 2 piece LE and we would have it covered.😉

I wondered if there might be a red one, there were red s/els in the 90s, but there aren't many red watches full stop really. Lots of red on black watches, but how many red dials can you actually think of?

The red Silverstone comes to mind. Gives an idea of what a red Monaco might look like.
LE TAG Heuer re-edition and the original...

Yeah, I saw one of those in the museum, it rather caught my eye!

If I remember correctly, I said to the guide (Paul) about how come there aren't more red watches and he said that they are quite difficult to get 'right'. Don't know exactly what he meant by that... but that's what he said.

Bit scratched up, but otherwise I like it!
