Hubert, thank you. You don't know how much I missed it.
Obviously the rumour I heard the other day (from a very reliable source one would have thought) that there would be some little
clues and hints as to what is coming from last week didn't pan out.
Oh well, Only have 3 days 22 hours 9 minutes and 22 seconds to wait.

I haven鈥檛 seen any chocolate watch pictures but sounds as if that may be a good thing?

I fear it will at least be polarizing, if not predominantly dismissed. But wasn't that the case with the first Monacos 50 years ago, too?

We all know the story. It was extravagant, gigantic, almost unwearable and quickly shelved. Only decades later would it get traction, courtesy of a huge marketing budget and McQueen (and thus the Monaco) rising to cult status. Had Mcqueen worn an Autavia on set it might have gotten the praise it actually deserves. Although I do agree the Monaco is more photogenic, just look at those posters. Not dissing the Monaco but without McQueen there just isn't any racing heritage there. For the record, I do love the Monaco 馃槈 (and I think we're all happy McQueen refused to wear an Omega in the movie)

Reminds me of another groundbreaking design and high performance classic that was way ahead of its time - the Gibson Flying V.

I do like the McQueen relationship to the Monaco. But I would like the watch just much regardless. Just as I adore my V regardless of Hendrix having played one.

All Heuer and TAG Heuer models share an intrinsic motorsport association IMO.

BTW, RIP Niki, a genuine legend. Today's news made me so sad.

Do we have any idea how many of the limited and special editions will be unveiled tomorrow?

Judging by the countdown page and the Instagram teaser, it appears only the 70's edition..

I have already seen it, 169 pieces for everyone, I hope I can have one, at least it has been a promise of my AD. these green colors and these stripes are very identifying how the sphere will be.

Are we having a 70s wallpaper dial? Whatever the outcome, tomorrow will be entertaining

The suspense is killing me.
I was told by an AD that we would see one version released every month for the next 5 months.
Not sure how we know which one to buy...but let the games begin.
