Each to his own but the kindest thing I can say is that I'm not sure it's aimed at people like me in their mid 40s. 馃榾
You're going to force me to elaborate on my comment now. It was a polite way of saying I thought it looked like a watch for 12 year olds. Sorry, but you made me say it. Normally I don't say anything if I can't say anything nice. 馃榾
You can also look at it as a nice reminiscence of childhood days.
But I must say paying thousands in order to wear a stopwatch on your arm, and measuring time of men driving around circles in their colorful cars is much more mature 馃槈.
What I want to say, is that this whole wristwatch-hobby is not something, that would necessarily demonstrate a completely sane mind, would it?
Hopefully Aquagraph knows I'm only joking. If I saw a friend wearing an Alec Monopoly Tag in real life, I would probably give them a bit of stick, but given my enthusiasm for watches, would definitely want a closer look! 馃榾
Hehehe, yes of course.... I just think it's a shame that he's gone because he brought a bit of fun to a hobby which can be a little bit too.... umm, 'earnest' at times. But I never saw the sense in the AM Carrera... firstly because the subdials, TH logo and date got in the way of the design and secondly because of the price...
How about Heironymous Bosch as a replacement for Alec M. He's been dead for 500 years, but that shouldn't really matter...
