Interesting! I wonder how many they will make of the F1, probably a lot more than last time (200 pcs if I remember correctly). I guess this is the same thing as with the Verstappen, they call it special edition and make 1000-1500 pcs perhaps.

I think the dial works a lot better on the F1.

Last year's version just as a comparison. Colors on the new one "pops" a bit more, last version was a bit more discrete (in lack of better words)

These are not my cup of tee, but I agree on that point.

Hmm, I think the white dial is a mistake personally, and the F1 is much preferable to the Carrera.

Should have done it with a black background and used the dollar bills for hour markers.

You have a good point regarding the black background

Or maybe even a dark grey, since the Alec Monopoly figure is in black...

Not available on the Swedish site, hope it is not exclusive to US (not sure if I want to buy one but I would like to have the option depending on size of Christmas bonus :whistling:)

Dark grey looks a bit better I think...

In my personal experience the Swedish TH site is a bit rough to work with. As always, I think the best option is to contact an AD or to the TH agent for Sweden (Skövde Urteknik). Also, if you get a Christmas bonus big enough to buy something as "niche" as the Alec, I'd love to share my bank account for a little donation :D

I don't get it at all. The watches are so ugly IMO. I don't know who Alec Monopoly is either. But it seems like Waddingtons/Hasbro should get their lawyers on the case!

A TH afterwork? Damn, I wish I was in Stockholm that day. You'll have to update me on the Alec edition and show some nice pictures of the event!

Actually TH have missed a trick here. They could partner with Crayola and provide kits for kids to colour in various designs - a bit like the paper menus you see in family friendly restaurant chains. You then send in the deaign and receive the watch back a few weeks later.

What seems to be the trouble? Those watches are fun (altough expensive fun I have to admit). Walk around with one of them and you'll get into spontaneous talks about watches, Art, lifestyle , luxury goods, good vs bad taste and so on with all kinds of people. :)
And Hasbro might have had a nice push of their Rich uncle Pennybags thanks to this Artist. Tag Heuer proves it's humour and courage with some non conformist pieces like these .
For me it's :cool: rather than :whipped:!
