·Have to say that I thought the tan strap was an odd choice to use for the unveil. The Autavia was never available on a tan strap and it looked a little "aftermarket" to me. I'm surprised that the black leather strap has a pin/ buckle...it's been years since a non-Gold watch was offered with this rather than a deployant. Maybe back to the re-editions of the 1990s?

·I would strongly prefer a deployant clasp, rather than pin buckle, on a strap. I believe the 2016 Monza and 2015 Carrera Telemeter, both "vintage"-style pieces, have a deployant clasp on their straps.

Yes, sounds like we'll be seeing two versions of the Autavia- a standard model and a Jack Heuer 85th Birthday model, which I'd guess will have a different dial (Silver?)

·Small update- looks like this is now the Autavia Heuer-02. Price in Europe: EUR4,600 (not sure if that is the strap or bracelet)
