Indeed! Lately I've been telling people the amazing story about the Monaco God named "Hubert" from this magical place called Calibre11 forums 馃槻

Allow me to add to the confusion- I spoke to someone last week who "thought" that the watch would be released more widely in 2018. I'll try to get to the bottom of it.

I really, really want to like this, but I just cannot get past the design faux-pas of the red hands and hour markers.

Enjoy it though, for those of you who have bought.

I'm very relieved to see the Gulf logo is in white not light blue!

My Gulf Grey says "hello"!

Many thanks! This is a great effort; I like it a lot. Makes me wish I had all past Gulf editions!

What does the booklet look like?
I already stored the box, but it had the same McQueen booklet (with his picture) introduced in the CAW211P. The rest was the typical TAG Heuer manual and new warranty card (latest versions with the new logo).

The sunburst blue part almost looks black in some photos, does it appear black irl?

In low light yes, it looks blackish.

Congratulations Hubert et al that got them!

My initial thought was wow. Finally a Heuer branded, gulf racing stripped, gulf logo'd Monaco!
I am meant to be borrowing a Monaco from Tag Heuer soon to see how it fits me, and really all over the place in my thoughts as to if I try and get one of these. The red hands and markers do give me a bit of a "Why?" moment, but then what couloir could they have done them in realistically? Orange would have been lost, and white maybe too much....?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I much prefer the red hands to orange.
