I think you would be the first to report what TH is going to charge, could be at a reduced cost if they feel responsible but nobody would know if that is actual cost of replacement as there won't be a lot of data points.

Curious how they aren't able to fix something they designed, I had a date change issue with my calibre 360 (1/100th second TH modular chronograph on an ETA movement) and went back 3 times but they finally fixed it.

For Omega this is a reference point:

I sent mine in and they failed to fix it or broke it further
I would simply demand they fix it correctly until they get it right.

Me too

@Snowydelrico what do you mean that they broke it further? Interesting if you could elaborate[/QUOTE
I sent it for a service .
It came back with the chronograph not resetting.
Sent it back.
Came back but was posted to my blue bin and was in there days while I was on holiday.
I have sent it back again after giving them a dressing down. That took a while to get to the right person.
Now they are going to put a new movement in.
I wanted to know how much the movement costs. For knowledge and curiosity’s sake.

As Yong said, I think no one in the forum has bought a new H02 replacement movement, the caliber aint very old yet in the market so I guess time will tell when we learn more as time goes and more people might run into a need to service their movement etc.

I’ll ask them and report back.
Then we will all know.
Thanks

The only possible closest comparison would be a cal 1887 I.e. basically a Heuer 01, which is for sale new at 1225 US dollars around 888 British pounds.so I would say a little north of this figure plus the cost of fitting it of course.
I would be suprised if you totally need a new movement however, I cannot believe it’s totally destroyed.

Waiting anxiously for the development on this case 🍿

I almost never heard of any service center said that "they failed to fix it"

That being said, hope you get your watch back soon in good condition.. 👍

I was persistent and stern with them.
But I remained calm.
Think they’re scared to get it wrong again after I told them I am all out of slack passes.

I am sorry if i missed it but I am sure the watch is still under warranty ?

Do you need to pay if it is still under warranty ?

It is under service warranty.
So the replacement movement is free in the way of money.
My time and stress of sorting the mess out wasn’t free by any means.
I payed for it all right

Might not even get it back if they haven’t sorted their shipping service out yet.
That’s another story
