Not very confidence-inspiring... both my Heuer-02s still have that intermittent chrono reset issue and now I'm not sure TAG would be able to fix them if it becomes not so intermittent again!

See, this is why I'm not so sore that they still use Sellitas and ETAs for their 3-hand models. In-house is only a good thing if the 'house' knows what they're doing!

I was well happy with my 7750 in my aquaracer of 10years with no service when I got it

Although they are giving me a 2 year warranty I would not buy an 02 movement again

I do have some confidence issues with the 02 movement. Maybe it’s improving now they have more and more models exploiting it but a few of us have had problems on the forum

The thing is it didn’t have the chronograph reset issue until after the service.

amen!
My Heuer 02 Fragment failed after 6 months. Won’t keep time after fully wound, 15 minutes later. I wore it a total of 3 times. Sent it back and demanded a new movement.

H02 SUCKS!!! Do something TAG!
Extend 02 movement to 10 years & 50% credit on the failed watch sold.

That was an expensive mistake I won’t make again. Haven’t bought another Tag since.
Wow, sorry to hear about this. I guess those of us with H02s running fine should consider ourselves lucky. (Knocks on wood.) 😗

Hi,

I have had several Heuer 02's and really no problems. Whether on several Autavia, several Carrera, since 2017, no problem with this movement. I find it just right reliable and very accurate.

My experience with H02 has been great. Way better than H01 in terms of accuracy. But to be honest, i am not looking forward when the time comes for the service...maybe 5 or 10 years along the road. 📖

Yeah a nice ornament.
Might ask for the broken 02 movement
And put it on the mantle piece

Maybe replica watches are the way to go if that’s the view point.
A faulty watch makes you feel sad when you wear it the same as a homage piece does.

I dont get it, have you decided to keep it and just leave it broken as it is instead of having it fixed?

Replica watches, even the expensive ones, are not as well finished as the genuine article. No enjoyment there for me.

Sounds like you got unlucky, all mechanical watches are machines prone to engine troubles, but don't really understand why TAG can't fix it for you.

No I’m having it swapped out. But wanted the old movement to look at

The Fragment is a looker.
That movement is a concern.
H02 movement don’t carry individual serial number.
This surprised me. Even basic movements from other makers carry serial numbers. Why doesn’t H02?
Anyone has any idea?

Basically, anyone can swap out a faulty H02 with another H02 model.
