Real progress compared to the previous model (I had it 41mm and in 43mm, both on several occasions). I regret that it does not exist in 41mm (and with a manufacture movement) but the shorter lugs make it a "small 43mm". It is thinner too. The finishing is really better too. I also prefer that the edges are brushed/satinned and not polished. The bracelet is really better, both the thinner links and especially the adjustable buckle. Really, a great value for money (grey market price).
TAG Aquaracer 844 Edition. Purchased early October 2021 (Oct 5 I think) Rotor problems already developing by December 18th 2021. Two and a half months from brand new to problems.
https://www.ablogtowatch.com/tag-heuer-aquaracer-professional-in-depth-history/ Long new ad about the 844. All about the pretty looks, not one single word about the movement. Except in the product description thing in the very end where it says Powered by the automatic Calibre 5, the Tribute to Heuer 844 is up for the most extreme challenges It fails to mention that such extreme challenges don't include hand-winding.
Only Sellita Same thing for me : bought end of September. And some issues with rotor/manual winding. Sold last week-end (to a professional)
This is why I have no trust in the Brand at the moment. I'm sure it will be fixed but I don't want a new watch only to send back after months. Then waiting on repair for further months. Stick with my GMT Calibre 7.
