spend like a month or more's wages on something that we know isn't really very good
Well I guess you can say the Aquaracer is like an expensive hooker. You're not quite sure whats inside, you only know it won't be good for you. Still, you cant help getting your hands all over it cause it looks so freaking good.

This thread made me paranoid and I've cancelled my pre-order for the 844.

That's quite the analogy coming from such a prestigious member of the church...

Well if it would really be this bad, why should TAG Heuer keep this movement for years? The cost for repairs under warranty would make no sense at all and they would have switched to another solution...

I’ve never had any issues with mine.

Well all of this so called 'scientific' evidence rather seems to be a psychological defence mechanism. A justification of our beloved leader of the church, so he may not spend money on another watch. Which might be quite a healthy decision.
But it will be interesting to see, what his science will tell us about the next TAG Heuer with a proper silver dial.

It's made me seriously rethink my previously (almost) definite intent to make an Aquaracer purchase too..

Or maybe there are very few calibre 7s and the owners have been lucky.

My other complaint about the c5 is it sounds like a power drill if you leave it on a wooden bedside table at night, it bothers my wife so much I leave it downstairs.

On the Aquaracer topic...... i am having an interesting issue with my WAY101L.FC8222 (quartz). To be completely transparent, i am not sure how long it has been happening, but i just noticed it last week....... the second hand is acting wonky.........
it seems to stop for 4-5 seconds then jump to proper spot.... go normally for a few seconds... then repeats cycle....... it has not lost any time accuracy!!!!
Has any one else ever seen this??
