Which watch would you like to see TAG re-issue?

I'll just quietly point out that the Grand Carrera case has 844 lugs but different crown guards.
Good point. I had fun with Google and now I know. Thanks!

How about a Mario Andretti licensed 2 register no date Autavia? with 'motor age' on the dial. Photo by Hodinkee

Speaking of Autavias, let's not forget that we've long been hoping to see the GMT reissued.

I believe tag should produce a heritage dive watch to sit alongside the aquaracer and compete with the back bay etc.

I would go for something based on the 844 or - left field - the bund

Big agree!

It's why I have a love/hate relationship with the Grand Carrera. It hinted at the possibility of a dive watch version by adding a dive bezel but it never happened.

Maybe it was the rotating bezel crown which at first glance looks like the helium escape valves on dive watches?
Or maybe he was drunk?

Which model? As far as I recall they were plain or tachymetre bezels.... (but I could be wrong)?

Or do you mean that the bezel had teeth on the edges on the black PVD ones?

I meant that their use of the case that obviouslyttook cues from the 844 case, hinted (small "h" wishful thinking) at the possibility for use in a different (dive watch) version.

Not fully convinced on the dial color, but definitevely I will be interested in a 1000 re-issue. This one looks really nice. Quartz would even add to its charm and practicity.

Think this is my favourite (borrowing from an idea earlier in the thread)

Really like the new The Rake x Rado Captain Cook diver. 37.3mm. Limited to 150 pieces and priced at just below 2K euro.

Tyler Simon modded his 1000 to a GMT. I'm thinking a vintage inspired Heuer 1000 with calibre 7 gmt at 2K? Not a true heritage piece I guess 😒
