Trying out the new Forstner bracelet I just received. I like the look, but it's surprisingly heavy, so the watch may go back on the strap.

Mine's on a Forstner as well, but the original style rather than the Modern one which yours looks to be? I think it's nice and light for a bracelet but yeah any bracelet's probably gonna be noticeably heavier than a strap

Sharp eyes. Yes, mine is the "contemporary flat link bracelet", and the description did make it seem like this is the heaver option. I also looked at the original flat link, but was concerned about the spring-loaded "stretchy" links they put on this style -- my limited experience with stretchy bracelets is that they excel at grabbing and pulling wrist hair.

How has yours been? Any problems with the stretchy bits pulling hair? If you haven't had any problem with that, I'll contact them to see about exchanging this one for your style.

Today’s Modular 45 combo in Ayrton’s Marlboro McLaren livery for this Monaco GP race week, where Ayrton still holds the record for victories (6)… the true king of Monaco

Surely the true king of Monaco is Olivier Panis? He won from 14th on the grid in a Ligier!

Senna should have won Monaco 1984 in a Toleman from 13th on the grid, had it not been for a highly controversial decision by race direction that relegated him to second place after already having placed first. That should have been his seventh victory in Monaco out of 10 starts. And in fact, he had his eighth in his hands, when in 1988 he was leading by a wide margin but clipped the guardrail when he relaxed when the “old fox” Prost radioed that he would settle for second place.

Practically eight wins out of ten starts, and the absolute record (although only six count) in Monaco, cannot be compared with the almost trivial victory of Panis in 1996, where only four cars finished the race 😉

Right, Senna really should've won at least 8 times at Monaco. Had he lived, who knows how many more?

Senna probably would've won in 1996 over Panis. That was Senna's kind of race, heavy rain in the beginning and changing conditions throughout the race. Panis was the winner in a battle of attrition, only 4 cars left running at the end.

Mine's been great, I'd long had a bunch of original 1039 stretch-link bracelets and loved them and this is an excellent reproduction. I haven't had much issue with hair pulling, though it may happen occasionally I guess - if it does, clearly it's not memorable!
