This weekend is the Brazilian GP, one of those moments of the year when Ayrton Senna is very present... so the 1994 TAG Heuer 6000 Senna was the choice today! 馃榾

Straight out of the box and onto the wrist - a perfect fit, and I can't tell you how glad I am about that since I had to send my wife's S/EL away to get links taken out of it! Looks better than the photos on eBay as well, which is always nice!
Oops, best screw that crown in eh!

There is a good video on YouTube about removing/adding links from/to an Sel bracelet.

Oh really? That's interesting... I'm told there was a special tool for doing it, but of course no one has these tools anymore.

The TAG Heuer boutique told me that and that they did not have the tool and that it would have to go away to Sydney to be resized. I walked across the road to another watchmaker who did it in 5 minutes.

I then found the video.

Here is one, although not the one I remember finding before:

Thanks for the info Mr Orange.... looks suspiciously easy though, my watchmaker spent 30 mins trying to do it, so surely there must have been some issue there. Maybe they get 'stuck' somehow?

I had a couple of different bracelets where the pins only go one way, so if you knock it from the wrong side they just get tighter, I haven鈥檛 watched the vid so I may be talking about something bs.

I had these instructions and he still couldn't do it... it's not like a normal bracelet. The Link bracelets fall apart when you take the end link off but the SELs didn't.
