They were around since the 40s, also at Heuer.

Those were the triple-date calendar watches though, I don't know if there were any chronos with just a date. In any case it was definitely one of the earlier ones

Thanks! It's a new strap, my first watch related purchase of 2022. I'm happy with the way it pairs with the 806, gives it even more of a vintage vibe. 😀

Yeah, this is a prototype watch.
I was reading David's edge article, so I was interested, I looked for parts, and I assembled.

In the future, I plan to change the dial to Black version and change the hands.
You're replacing a silver dial with a black one? :whipped:
