Really can't compare these, they're so different.
I was stunned by the Carrera, it's really good, I don't know how it could be improved. I'll never complain that 36mm is too small again. I've been wearing it everyday until I picked up the sub. It has made me question TAG Heuer's design choices even more though. I'll buy another 36mm Carrera before buying any modern Carrera. I was hoping for a panda 39mm glassbox but frankly I don't know whether I'd go for it. I'm at a point where I want less watches. Watches I don't just like but really love.
The sub is also a stunner. Really well designed and made. Compared to most of my other watches it's more laidback, an everyday beater with a casual coolness.

Love the watch,- no, not envious at all- don’t fancy the other stuff though, beans on toast seem a better option.

Thanks for your impressions. You've reinforced my goal of getting a vintage Heuer as my next and perhaps last watch. I also feel the same way about my Sub, it was my daily beater for about a decade and has been through a lot. Now my BB58 sees more wrist time and has taken the Sub's place as my daily beater. Having said that, I enjoy my Heuer re-editions more in some ways, but they're less of a daily wearer and more about my personal style.
