That Monaco looks better every time I see one. Did you know that your Monaco was originally going to be called the "Jo Siffert" edition? I've seen a prototype with "Jo Siffert" on the dial. Not sure what happened in the end- my guess is it had to do with rights to the name, as there is an "official" Jo Siffert line of watches- http://www.josiffert.com/en/index.htm

Ash, that really is a classic F1- tough watches too!

One of the few truly kid-proof watches, 200M water resistant and the fibreglass bezel protects it from any damage, the Swatches and other entry level quartz models for youngsters these days can't even come close in terms of durability for little gremlins.

Why thank you! I did know that; but I actually learned it from you, from one of your Instagram comments 😁.

I'm glad they chose to use the Heuer logo instead! This looks like the inpiration for the new gray Calibre 12 Boutique Edition that was released in October.

Just joined.. wearing my v2 1887 white. Sorry no picture, because I haven't ever taken one. It was fortuitous that I had checked into your site, David. I come here often to see what is going on in the world of TAG Heuer, and noticed "Forums" in the heading bar. So here, I am. 😀

My first Tag Heuer. When I found out the CH80 was not going to happen, I "settled" for the Drive Timer. This is my daily wear. I love it!! 😁
The search is on for a chronograph and a Monaco Thanks for the forums!! GW

Nice Driver Timer- it's the most interesting of the new 3-hand Carreras launched this year- I reckon Steel is the right choice too!

First post but have been reading this site for a number of years now. Great site, thanks D.C!
My first and only (so far) TAG Heuer. Have been wearing this non-stop now for going on 3 years.

Not TAG Heuer, but its LVMH sister brand and some time movement supplier, Vintage 1969 Zenith El Primero A386 on Shell Cordovan. Bet they couldn't imagine back then that TAG Heuer Carreras would still be powered by that movement over 45 years later.
