Not TAG Heuer, but its LVMH sister brand and some time movement supplier, Vintage 1969 Zenith El Primero A386 on Shell Cordovan. Bet they couldn't imagine back then that TAG Heuer Carreras would still be powered by that movement over 45 years later.

And for me today it's the Monaco Calibre 17- got this one back in 2005 and it's never missed a beat. I wear it today on the strap from the 40th Anniversary Monaco rather than the blue alligator strap

Today on the wrist: TAG Heuer Monaco Stainless steel with a brown dial WW2116.

You must love this one, the signs of patina give it away.

Haha, yes, I know, lots of marks, still contemplating if I should refurbish the case or not, maybe after servicing the movement...

Reckon it looks good as it is...plus, I'd be worried about how they'll polish without effecting the "TAG Heuer" engraving

Now that does make me sad! Congrats on an awesome watch and hope you enjoy. Can you remind me what model number is engraved on the lugs? Not the serial, but should either be 11063V or 11630.

That case and bezel look like they'd be sharp enough to shave with, was that NOS when you came across it?

It is indeed sharp and well taken care of by the previous 2 owners for sure, one being our forum headmaster 馃槑
