Clearly on the rebound 😀

This might only be a temporary addition if TAG release any more Heuer 02 Carreras (that was the original goal), but have to say it's a stunning piece that may prove hard to part with.

Congrats!!! Can't go wrong with a Speedy and that one is a beauty. 😁

After the 5x, TAG Heuer Monaco “decades” edition, i’m thinking of getting a “Black McQueen” to partner my Calibre11 Blue Dial McQueen Monaco 👍

Lol, there are a myriad of Speedmasters that have been produced over the years, including more than a few special editions! This one is the 1957 60th Anniversary "Trilogy" edition and it's a very accurate replica of the very first Speedmaster. Released 2 years ago as part of a series of 3 1957 watches - a Speedmaster, a Seamaster and a Railmaster. Been eyeing up this one for a couple of years, but was put off by the cost. They seem to have dipped below RRP now, I guess because they were "limited" to 3557 pieces!

I still cannot decide if the Monaco is for me. Been swaying between the Calibre 11 (prefer then left hand crown) and 2 register dial. Tried on numerous times, just unsure, bug bare non in-house movement for the price, Speedy Pro Moon Watch or last gen Seamaster SMPc again in blue.

After a blue faced watch, mainly into 'diver' style watches - already own Panerai 560, Tudor BB58 and vintage Seiko Arnie. Never had a chrono and prefer a diver bezel for timing. The Monaco just looks so damn good, also tried the Bucherer Blue F1, great VFM just again unsure on Sellita, Spacer plate rumours and not keen on the bezel.

Thoughts? Thanks Brad

Forgot to mention when I was in the boutique, they did say they received a metal bracelet in for the Monaco from Tag HQ (which they weren't even sure they did) for someone who bought one of the 5 anniversary models.

Any idea what the bracelet was? Can only see old style Monacos with what looks like a 'strapcode/ brietling' style bracelet

It was probably this one, since I believe it's the only TH bracelet available for the Monaco currently.

However, some say there's a new Monaco bracelet coming. Not sure what it will look like, but it might look like the vintage style that was fitted to the 70s era Monaco & Silverstone watches. Something like this one, which is a vintage Heuer bracelet fitted to the current Monaco.

Yeah! I was looking at those two ACM LE Heuer Monaco 👍 Was supposed to get the ACM LE below CAW211K but then again, the orange hands and orange strap stitching didn't "talked" to me that much hahaha 😉 the all black ACM LE, CAW211M on the other hand, didn't quite "fit" for me as well since i've always loved the contrast dial-subdial Monaco. the contrast makes it more recognizable as a Monaco but in a different way. plus the ACM logo was hidden back at the caseback haha

I opted with the "Black McQueen" 🥰 Calibre 12. For me, it represents something very similar and at the same time something very different (like a modern interpretation of a classic version)
Similarities. Classic square 39 mm case design on sapphire crystal. Automatic chronographs printed on the dial. Contrasting dial with white subdials. Clear caseback. Leather straps and so on.
Differences. Calibre 11 vs Calibre 12 movement (left vs right crown). Heuer vs TAG Heuer logo. Blue vs Black dial. Classic vs Modern. and so on. Thank you for the recommendation!

Awaiting something for me birthday ::rimshot::

Nice Yago- Can’t wait to see what you bought.
I’ve got a vintage coming in soon from Japan too.
Not the most appreciated Heuer ever made .. unless your name is Gamba. Might be a few weeks wait but it will eventually get here.

looking forward to see your latest purchase👍

Awesome, congrats to both of you. 👍
I've often thought about joining the vintage Heuer club, perhaps one day. I guess I'd better not wait too long, since I'm becoming "vintage" myself. LOL 🙄
