My friend has this watch, he's very happy with it, great lume. It's quite thick, looks chunky on his wrist... he jumped on it when it was announced for some reason, at least he got a sub 1000 number on the back!

I have been 'eyeing' this watch ever since it was released. I did initially tried it on at that time but I had other watches, ok TAGs, to buy first. But now that I have tried it on again, it's definitely a go! In terms of it being thick, I would say that it's just slightly thicker than the Submariner but nowhere as thick as the Aquaracer Calibre 16.

Well the Monaco 24's gone out of the window and the Grand Carrera has gone off the boil for me as well... so I'm really unsure now. Maybe an Aquaracer....
Hope you can still get your monaco 24 someday should you still want it of course 馃憤

Me too, i just realized there is something like this one formula one range. I checked the tag heuer website they have black and white dial as well. Looks nice. I particulary like the black one.

I might grow on the white dial as well. Looks good.

On the other story. Looks like Alec Monopoly is not the only one that Biver recruited for messing up watches. Attached ! Introducing Mr Brainwash !

This arrived today as yet another holiday / summer / workhorse / Toolwatch or whatever you wish you call it.

It's a JDM model only; the Shogun, in titanium.
It is very, very light.
I took the pic with an @OttoWilliam background.

You, Sir, have the penchant of making any watch looks interesting. 馃憤 (of course, this is not just "any" watch but you get my point)

A speedmaster probably. though I came to realize I really like continuous sweeping seconds and I don't like a chrono hand stuck at noon most of the time...

Do not know brand yet but according to technical specifications it should be something like that:
- Automatic
- Case diameter: 45mm or even bigger
- Chronograph function
- Strong lume indicators
- Date
- Sapphire glass
- Case back view (transparent back)
- Anti-magnetic
- Rotating bezel
- Shock resistant (thats tough one)

If all these requirements in one piece then it indicates towards some Omega models.

Ok, I should have said anti-magnetic movement but the idea is the same: it should be immune to refrigerator and ipad magnets, and maybe even immune against stronger magnetic fields (no I am not working with substation switchboards). I thought Co-Axial movement is anti-magnetic.
