I keep coming back to this:

Same here - tried it on today and it’s a corker of a watch. Robust, elegant, visually very well balanced…just lovely.

Seriously tempted…

Not a photo, but here's a video comparing the two.

Thanks bruh. Both extremely nice pieces but 58 wins in my book, I really prefer the bezel on the 58.

It’s been a while since I got a good look at a BB58, but I can say that the BB54 bezel action is really nice.

The dial has a very subtle sunburst finish which almost looked fume in certain lighting…lovely.

This is a great alternative to the 58 if you’re on a budget or the colours don’t work for you. I have had this for two years now and the diashield has protected it from getting any scratches. The Uncle Seiko bracelet makes a big difference in the wearing experience and gives it a vintage vibe. It punches well above its weight.

Good to see you are still enjoying this one! Tbh I thought it would be sold a long time ago, replaced by Carreras and Rolexes

@Jim Dollares every collection should have a Seiko! Just like one should have a Tag 😀 Also since the Uncle Seiko oyster, I really like this watch. I can’t wait for his bracelet for the Carrera,

I think I see a Solargraph or Nightdiver in my future. Also I believe I will be getting a call for a two tone Daytona this year and flipping my GMT to help facilitate it. We shall see…😎

Always loved that white dial/blue accents Speedmaster Broad Arrow 1957. Less than 14mm in height… 😲

Great video, that 54 is seriously good looking. Will be checking that out.

Not one, but two recent additions to my collection (alas, neither is a TH)…

First up is the (now outgoing?) Casioak GM2100, which I managed to snag a tidy discount on. My first ever G Shock! This is a really cool watch which ticks so many boxes; legibility of the screen could be better, and it looks like the newer versions have fixed this to some extent, but it’s a great looking thing that wears and feels great on the wrist. Perfect holiday/cardio/hiking/tool watch.

Second acquisition was the PRX Powermatic 80 with a green dial. I’m really impressed with this watch so far, and I’m not sure why I didn’t pull the trigger sooner; the dial is a wonderful colour with an amazing amount of depth, the bracelet is really nicely made and the Powermatic 80 is running only +4 seconds fast after 9 days of wear…very impressive.

What’s the quality of the PRX like @RushDom ? Just asking as I really like them but not tried one on. Heard mixed reviews.

Also really like that G Shock. There’s definitely a pattern to those two purchases. 😀

Quality is really nice - the dial and case finishing is really well done and the bracelet itself feels really good, albeit perhaps slightly ‘jingly jangly’ off wrist. Anyone expecting AP levels of finishing will be disappointed, but for the money I have no complaints.

Sounds good all round then. Great for the price.

I’ve got a few of the “casioaks” and they are great watches to be fair.

Ordered the "new" blue Aquaracer WBP201B last week after finding a good online deal for it through C24. Retailprices have gone up since the beginning of the month and this was close to 1200 euro's cheaper.
