Has been on my list for so long and finally took the plunge. These wear really well, very thin. A lot of Monaco for the money. Diving a little deeper into ‘90s neo vintage.

Here she is…absolutely over the moon with this one (no pun intended)! Much like the Monaco, this is a watch that has to be experienced on the wrist to ‘get’ what it’s all about. Bracelet is a little big so I’ll swing by the local OB to have it resized at some point…however, the Speedy is such a strap-munster that it looks great on pretty much any 20mm strap lying around.

Can’t recommend Darren at VintageSpeedmaster highly enough. He did me a fantastic deal on this - it’s around 7 months old - with a pretty mega saving off RRP. We enjoyed talking watches and he even threw in a bonus Ultraman style NATO for me. Top guy.

Awesome mate...it's a ripper watch and close to my favourite in my collection to date.
Enjoy the heck out of it.

oh yes, it was my original Monaco want after reading an article on C11 about it. It's the first re-edition and has a T dial. Athough prices are going up they're still affordable. At least more affordable than the Carrera re-editions of the era.

Congrats Yago. Adam will love that running seconds.... though he will completely illogically claim it doesn't bother him on these older watches. 🙄

At least it adds to the symmetry of the dial 😜

Congrats - looks great. And you are right, Darren is a top bloke. I’ve sold a couple of quite valuable speedies through him and not a bother with any of them. Highly recommended.

Yeah nothing wrong with those running seconds. They are a nod to the C15 Monacos, or Autavia.

Now this is so off and yet it works. Asymmetrical but balanced. These are quite valuable, almost in the realm of the McQueen classic blue.

I agree, love the cal 15s. I think the strange placement of the running seconds actually adds to the funky asymmetry

So these cross hair running seconds are OK as long as TAG Heuer doesn't use them on a model that is currently in the line up 👍

They add to the design of the cal 15s. But in my opinion they detract from the otherwise pleasant design of the H02s.

Nothing wrong with them, it’s just that they look like a middle finger on the current Carrera.

And that Carrera would look really, really nice as a 2-register

Just transferred money for another Monaco, which should round up my colour obsession. More info when the actual transaction goes through.
