Don't praise him for buying bloody Tudor!

I've bought Seiko recently also, although both purchases not for me!

Congrats, Rob! Wear it in good health. The Grand Carrera club just got a new addition!

Additionally, don't feel guilty when that one stays on the wrist after day five. 👍

I do want the Tudor ”Panda” but refuse to pay the premium of buying one now and there’s a two year wait list as asked at the Trafford centre last week.

I’m still also very tempted by the Zeroo T4 in rose gold

Not seen that before. Looks a bit like a Richard Mille. What's the price tag on them?

Re the Tudor, you might get it a bit sooner by going for an AD outside of the city centre. I wouldn't pay more that RRP either. Once demand is met and the hype dies down, used prices will drop just like they have with the BB58. Just be patient if it's worth waiting for.

Which shop? I went into the Beaverbrooks there a few weeks back and they had one in the window, which I tried on. Manager indicated to me they had called everyone on the list and they’d declined, so into the window it went. Two years certainly sounds rather extreme! Prestons in Wilmslow might also be worth a shot if you’re nearby. They had a reverse Panda for sale last week in the window.

Rant alert: both Goldsmiths stores at the TC are useless. The Tudor/TH boutique upstairs is staffed by people who seem to know next to nothing about watches, and the one downstairs is manned by the most miserable women in existence. Maybe they’re all traumatised by having to deal with thousands of people coming in and asking about Rolexes all day long…

Yeah it is very very Richard Mille, they are £1962 then plus shipping and the dreaded import taxes. I am quite tempted but we shall see.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll keep looking as I’m not in any great rush right now

It was the actual Tudor shop on the first floor as I’d asked the sales guy who was quoting me 2 years

2 years is a bit of a stretch. Most places you’ll wait 6 months or so as they have a list, but you occasionally get lucky (I walked in just after someone had declined and they offered to me as they know me).

but they are harder to get hold of than the reverse panda which is fairly regularly in windows. Hold out, it’s definitely worth it. Cracking watch for the money.

Congrats Brobert, that is one grand chronograph indeed

Seriously, it is not the most photogenic watch (a problem in this Instagram generation), you really have to see it first hand - same goes for my other GC.
