my trusty PO which I will soon be releasing after 10 years of loyal service. no more complications, date indicators .. I switch to a very simple diver ... caliber 3230 .. does that mean anything to you?
Pure class, congrats brobeans! One that will look as good in 50 years as it does today. Are you not a fan of the fluted biiizel? That would be my choice I think
It seems strange... I have nothing. I search Ebay, Watchfinder, even Cash Converters, but there is nothing at the moment.
Congrats! I've been on a list for 4+ years for a Pepsi, I think I need to change my AD. My sales guy left and I think his list vanished with him.
Congrats again! What a great "new watch buying day" we're having huh! Now did anyone buy anything besides Rolex though?
Thanks Jim.. I went with the flat dial to give it a bit less dressier look. Just felt that jubilee and fluted were a bit too much for me.
On my enquiry with the AD and Boutique it's a matter of getting on the list. The list I've been on for a couple of years for a Sub so I didn't bother and just went Grey Market. The OP are also quite nice in the colourful dial. Just wasn't sure how they would be received in 10 years time so went with the classic DJ 41.
At my AD a Pepsi or Daytona are usually given to the heavy hitters. The area is filled with wealthy folks spending crazy money. I understood my place in the cue and feel I would be waiting forever for the Pepsi. Getting to the point of being able to get this was quite a bit of patience, spend and several referrals. Over time I have become quite friendly with my salesman and enjoy just stopping in for a chat and checking out their other brands. At this point I am glad to be free of waiting for the call. It’s liberating and I am pretty happy with my collection now.
Thank you! It was pretty cool. I had a hard time sleeping after the call and couldn't wait for the next day to begin so I could pick it up. It feels kind of like that moment when you are waiting for a package and get the notice "out for delivery"
You just need an existing relationship to get on it and need to keep spending and checking in to stay on it
