If there is one other love that watch guys tend to have, it's cars, whether it be road cars or motor racing. TAG Heuer of course has long known the link between watches and cars.

Having seen the interest in all things automotive, we've decided to create a dedicated home for these conversations- The Garage. Whether it's Formula 1, Le Mans, Touring Cars or your own car, they're all welcome here!

Well said! This place should allow fans to express and share their passions in all things motorsports. And as a bonus, how these relate to their watches! 馃憤

This doesn't need its own thread so posted here: https://robbreport.com/motors/cars/12-cylinder-engines-2905639/.

I was visiting the small workshop in Affalterbach where Mercedes-AMG is still hand-making the V12 engines for Pagani! 馃グ

From the normal AMG range, V12 engines will probably dissappear because of last emission rules, with current V8 offering best efficiency and -already- more power with 4.000cc vs the 6.000cc V12

V12 are nice, but when we talk about our garages, I prefer to own a V8 馃槈 馃憤

I tend to agree. It's very hard to beat the sound of a raucous, atmo V8.

Totally agree, I love the sound of a v8. We need to make the most of v8s while we can, in a decade we will all be driving coal powered cars.

Worse, we'll be driving souless electric smartphones on wheels.

finally restored my old stopwatches and rejoined them again to their handmade old oak/aluminum panels.
Bought this 15 years ago in Italy with a lot of old items that makes connection with the historical Monte Carlo and the Mille Miglia

This looks so beautifull.
This is also why many of us love Heuer and its automotive connection.

That's awesome dude! Did you restore them yourself or have them restored? Most of mine work perfectly but they've probably never been serviced. The servicing cost is higher than the perceived value unfortunately.

Maybe not the right thread to post but my buddy just made me this.
About 10 hours of battery, FM, bluetooth, micro SD. I love it!
This is a prototype and he鈥檚 already ordered parts to make more. Next up will be a black and (Heuer) red one.
Tried it in the yard yesterday, was awesome. We鈥檒l be taking these along on Porsche rides for stops and picknicks.
What do you guys think?

Per request by @Mspeedster ...

Our collection: 1962 MGA, 1958 TR3A, 1979 Spitfire 1500 preservation project, 2006 AM Vantage...
Lovely collection, pity about the US spec bumpers the you have to suffer, the Spitfire looks overwhelmed.
TRA3 for me is the pick.
