So totally design led then and nothing to do with the brand name as such @TheGanzman. Other than the size of said branding, which is design again. I can accept that.

One way to make the logo cleaner and simpler would be to get rid of the 'Heuer' part, just leaving a simple green square with three letters in it.

Works for me, so long as that appears only on the Aquaracer, Formula1, Link, Connected and any other model name that TAG invented. Any model name that came from Heuer (Autavia, Carrera, Monaco, Monza etc.) would of course be branded Heuer.

Win/win, everyone is happy. 😀😁

Okay, I don't have a problem with that.
Oh, but there is a problem. The old "TAG" logo in standalone form is still owned by Techniques d'Avant Garde. TAG Heuer likely doesn't have the legal rights to use that old logo by itself without the Heuer bottom half of the shield.
