Hi. I have a quick question if I may. I've been offered an Aquaracer WAY1321.BH0743.

The seller is adamant it's a mens watch. Looking online I have seen it advertised as a ladies watch and a unisex watch.

Can anyone more knowledgeable than myself confirm which one it is? I've attached a pic for reference.

Many thanks.

It's a 35mm watch. 30-40 years ago, that was in the standard range for men's watches. These days, it is small for men's watches and falls within the range considered to be women's watches.

However, more importantly, what do you think about it? If you like it, go ahead and buy it and wear it. Don't worry about what other people think.

Thanks for the reply Bill.

I like it. It's quite elegant and simple. Plus I'm not really keen on big and chunky watches.

It's never been worn and is a good price so I'm pretty sure I'll go ahead with it.

How big is your wrist? How big are the watches you wear normally?

Black watches tend to wear smaller than steel watches, but I suspect this is fairly shiney so maybe wears bigger. I’ll post a photo of my wife’s WAY1355.BH0716 later.

8.25 inches wrist size but I'm a lanky git so my arms look quite thin.

I normally wear a Rado skeleton which is quite small with a 38mm case.

I suspect the bracelet won't fit you. I looked at a similar model with a diamond bezel once and I couldn't get it over my hand. Technically it is a ladies watch, and a 35mm dive watch (especially a black one) will wear smaller than a 36mm Carrera. But it doesn't really matter if it suits you and you like it.

Note that the ceramic case and bracelet are gloss not matte (as implied by the renders)

For comparison, 38mm Sundowner and 43mm quartz Night Diver
