That Carrera Plasma is definitely more a work of craft than a work of art.

Seems like someone at TAG is pushing for Richard Mille gaudy style watches. First the Dubai Carrera, now this. The bezel of the Solargraph, while a cool blend of carbon & lume, also looks quite gaudy to me.

I'd say it's more like a publicity stunt.

I get some really good vibes from some of the exciting things from TH

Focus on and talk about movements. Fully transparent around movement manufacturers. Increased warranties. Investments in quartz tech.

Fairly transparent around movement manufacturers.

ftfy. Claiming it as a manufacture calibre when it’s not made by TH and is used by a bunch of other brands…

Oh really? I have not read too much yet, just listened to the key note and all I heard was something like "new calibre manufactured by [name of movement manufacturer]"

“This launch marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration in pursuit of exceptional performance between TAG Heuer and Kenissi Manufacture SA. The release of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver is the debut of a brand-new manufacture movement, the calibre TH30-00, certified COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) and produced to TAG Heuer’s exacting specifications by Kenissi Manufacture SA.”

Ah thanks, yes I see your point. Lying and making it come off as if they had anything to do with the development of the movement, when in reality I guess they just buy the same ready to go "in-house" movements Tudor and others buy from Kenissi.

Prob not this week, but there are more releases due throughout the year.
