Hello. New here.
My Mother in law sent me a bag of my FIL Navy stuff, including this watch. Kinda floored to find out what I have. 1133 with #251xxx ser .
What am I looking at for a service or even a new band?
To be quite honest. I'm a Seiko automatic guy and didn't know what I was looking at when this baggie of stuff was handed to me. I didn't inherit this watch specifically at all, my wife wanted some of her dad's military ribbons and this came with it. The Heuer logo was very tiny so I did a Google lens search after taking a photo. Imagine my surprise.
Thank you all for the specific information. I think I'm going to get a nice leather rally strap and wear it. The chrono buttons work and I have to check how good/bad the timing accuracy is today. It would be nice to have it serviced, but this was definitely a user watch, but not abused.
Bracelet is way too small, one springboard bent like a banana, and the end shields are bent. For now, I removed them for safekeeping and put a Borealis divers strap on it. Some light cleaning to get the decades of grime off of it
Yes, it's an original NSA and put away now. I think I'll get a leather strap copy like Le Mans.
I might just put the bracelet for sale. Sheesh, I don't know lol.
If it has a Heuer signed clasp, the bracelet is worth even more. Here's one for sale, although the $3500 asking price is quite high (IMHO) and it doesn't have the Monaco end-links.

A leather racing rally strap is the way to go! 👍
But I'd also want to restore the bracelet if it were me, especially if it has a Heuer signed clasp.
