Vintage Heuer Servicing - Back to Tag Heuer HQ?

Hi all,

I've picked up a Heuer 2446c GMT recently which I would like to get serviced. I was considering sending it back to Tag HQ as the local boutique suggested that I might be able to get an original bracelet for it during my servicing.

Was wondering if anyone has experience with servicing vintage Heuers through Tag Heuer HQ? I can't find much information and have only heard some horror stories when searching (not sure if they're true). There's also a long turn around, whereas my local watch maker (who is amazing) would be able to do it in a shorter period (sans the bracelet replacement).

TIA

Unlikely you'd get an original bracelet from a service. The original bracelets for these are worth $3000+, reason being there's no suitable modern replacement....

Send it to your local watchmaker. The Valjoux 724 movement is fairly common and can easily be serviced by any competent watchmaker
