By coincidence, I recently bought the vintage box featured in the pic DC just posted to go with my Dato. I'll post some pics after it arrives.

The chosen colors on these make them so fun and interesting. I’d stare at it all day watching the orange hand spin on the dial. Great watch

I could never be a watch dealer. Imagine selling something like this for a living.. Such special timepiece from a distant time and place, made by some grumpy little Swiss man and his tiny hands.

You'd need to open it up to see what movement is inside, but that dial has been repainted (badly) and I'd say it was unlikely to have Heuer on the dial before that.

- Thanks for that. I must admit, I just found it in my Mother's jewellery box that I finally got around to opening. She passed away 20 years ago and her stuff was just put in boxes by my Step-Father. He has just passed, so I have received the stuff. Will clean the glass up and get a better lit photo done.

Big time overlooked. Slightly different stage/style but as modern as it is a classic look. It’ll live forever.

It came on the croc, now sitting in the box unused. This is a Geckota Painswick quick release which I can recommend.
