·Just Picked this up, best shape I’ve seen yet. The provenance doesn’t hurt.. (I assume Svc Merchandise Co. wasn’t big into filling out warranty cards).

·I had one of those Service Merchandise Co. stores near me, back in the day... Browse the store, fill out a card with item # of what you liked, present it to our lovely cashier and then just pay for it. Item will be waiting for you at the pick-up center located at the back end of the store. Pretty much a precursor to Amazon. It is fantastic you have this paperwork included!

Indeed, Brother, that was a cool system for its time. Their vintage catalogs are still floating around through online sellers, a testament to its coolness.
