Well, that really puts a damper on the already waning love I had for Tag Heuer. What a scummy thing to do. They didn't want the content for themselves. They wanted the content for no one else. But why? I sell parts, and I can hardly find any part numbers. And what numbers I have, I can't find a single hit on google. Yet we know all this info exist at tag heuer. But they don't want us to see it. Especially now, that they don't want anyone actually fixing their own watches. Just so scummy on their part, wow.

While I’m not pleased with how things went down, I don’t think this is fair.

They did want the content and I know had the right, positive intentions when they bought the content…it was never bought to just shut it down.

In big companies, plans and people change.

Yeah, thanks for all the original content and history lessons on what has now become my favorite watchmaker brand DC! It's fueled my passion for these treasures for years now! And drained my bank account too, but I am so grateful for it nonetheless. 👍

I've found that much of @Calibre11's content has been incorporated into the Vintage Watches section on the TAG Heuer website:
https://www.tagheuer.com/us/en/vintage-collection/vintage-collection.html

It seems other things have also been transformed into content elsewhere on the TH website. For example, I believe this article on the Monaco Gulf series was developed by leveraging DC's content as well.
https://magazine.tagheuer.com/en/20...co-gulf-series-the-ultimate-collectors-guide/

So it's not all lost, just not as easy to find or as detailed as it was on Calibre11.com.

I am always thankful and grateful to sir DC @Calibre11 for all the things he has done for the TH community and all TH watch enthusiasts around the world. My love for TAG Heuer wouldn’t have been possible without C11. As I have said before, Calibre11 is my “virtual home” which has now evolved to THF. That being said, I have my utmost respect to sir DC!

I think we still have the most valuable element which is the our passion for TAG Heuer & our camaraderie among TH die-hards 👍

If you don't mind me asking, how do you know that? I appreciate you responding as it is, due to my initial comment lol. I've been collecting a lot of info myself but it's so frustrating to spend just countless hours for information that I know tag heuer has. And obviously as a person that loves the brand enough to dedicate a site to it, you might defend them. I know you're not defending their CURRENT actions, just the ones in the past. But if I may ask, is that from actual knowledge, or from your personal positive experience with the company?

How can you be sure it was incorporated from it, rather than from their own info?

Sometime ago, when the WayBack Machine was still able to access an archived image of Calibre11.com, I had compared some of the pages and found some wordings to be the same. They're not 1 to 1 copies, but I remember some of DC's articles well enough to recognize the content & format.
