I can't believe no one took over the website...

 

From what I understand, David took down the site and then took additional steps so that it couldn't be accessed (for example, through the Internet Archive / Wayback Machine). It seems to me that David did not want anyone to take over the site; he wanted it dark / removed from the web, and he seems to have succeeded (except that TAG Heuer is hosting some postings that were derived from the Calibre11 postings).

Of course, I have never expressed any "clear view" on what you wanted . . . I was just connecting some of the dots / making some assumptions, like other readers.

Hi David, hope you are well! One thing I never fully understood was why you disappeared along with the content. That was the bigger loss imo. Maybe you needed a break, though, and to move on to other priorities, which is absolutely understandable. Hope this is more than a fleeting visit
