I like Doxa too. Always deals on various versions of those. Bracelets didn’t seem the best and rubber straps were proper thick mind you. I liked the ones I tried on but ultimately didn’t quite fit me right. His mileage may vary though, as it’s all subjective.

Of coarse, I’m not a fan of the BOR bracelet (on anything) and the FKM rubber straps look better. There’s currently the orange Sub 200 on offer again at Goldsmiths which he’s also shown an interested in.

In fairness he’ll probably buy nothing.

UK buyers, if you use TopCashBack website on Goldsmiths you’ll get more back, circa £200 on an average TH, plus they send you a £250 gift card. And this is on top of the additional 20% off.

Quidco were only giving 9% on full price items & 3% on sale. After VAT removed I worked out just shy of £50 cash back on the orange Aquaracer.

Also a fan of Doxa but never owned one as I think they're just a little bit overpriced. Big fan of Squale however. Truly great value and a brand with real diving heritage and undiluted DNA.

I like the recent 39mm Squale sunburst dials released recently. Just that logo I cannot take serious. Plus the TGV love for them gave shilling a new meaning!

I don’t actually know what TCB worked out but it’s appeared as £263 cash back plus, as invoiced includes the £250 gift card and a free TH clasp and strap. I am suspicious though as normally it’s the usual “not with any other offer” but I'm prepared to argue the odds on all points as the invoice said I’ve paid and they owe all those things. Bit of a win-win today tbh.

The TGV love for them is genuine as far as I can tell and kind of echos how I feel about the brand. I guess if you don't like or are suspicious of TGV then it might put you off, though. As for the logo, I presume you mean the fact it is double-branded. That's historic and been the way they always do it, since they made cases/dials/watches for other brands, so it was important to have a Squale logo on the watch as a sign of quality, alongside the other brand. I think they made cases for Tag once too, but certainly Blancpain amongst others.

I’ve decided after months of debating to give the Superdiver a go. Worst case I don’t like it and return it.

If you are accustomed to heavy watches, you'll be fine. Otherwise, consider it in the rubber strap.

Isn’t the Superdiver’s bracelet titanium, too 👎 So weight shouldn’t really be an issue.

IMHO, there’s only one right was to buy a Doxa SUB 300(T): On the BoR - and if you don’t like it, you can still put the watch on a 15-40 EUR Isofrane, on which it looks terrific, too.

The original rubber strap is rubbish, IMHO, since too thick and using a overly bulky clasp.

$3k US, pretty damn cheap IMO!

Taking the green theme to new heights. Really good-looking Tag.
