Rare opportunity to purchase a late era Heuer 2000 with the spectacular 'HEUER2000' bezel... missing a pusher unfortunately.
Honestly never seen one of these for sale before...
Back plate is from a different watch, it says TAG Heuer 264.006 on it, but it's a 244.006 and it's not a TAG it's a Heuer.
Only in the 1983/4 and 1984 catalogues

Sensational. Tell me how this is less of a Monaco than one of the new £8k+ ones.
First time I saw one of these I had to check that it was a real reference. The design and level of finishing make it look like a replica

Gen 2 revived Monaco this one with Cal. 17 movement. The first blue Monaco in the revival era (post LVMH acquisition)

Not less of a Monaco, just a beauty from a different era. The CS series (2110, 2111) were the first two from the revival series followed by the various CW series. Both series were 38mm Monacos with plexiglass and powered by Cal. 17. Further evolution gave us Cal 11 and Cal 12 models - 39mm, sapphire glass, CAW series. Further which gave us the H02/TH20 models - CBL series.

I personally prefer the older models as they really show the robustness of the C17 movements.

I'm sure there are differences (and possibly finishing quality has improved in that time too), but it seems like such a bargain for what is basically a classic McQueen inspired Monaco.

I too prefer the earlier reissue Monacos - mainly because of the plexi and the size (even the 38mm wears somewhat large on me). I am well acquanited with the CS2111, although mine does sport a few modifications 😀

And the best thing is the crown is on the right side so it doesn't look weird. 🤪

This seems a bit optimistic considering how long these took to shift...

I remember a dealer friend struggling to sell this for £3750 a few months back. WF clearly has its own market research it seems

Coincidentally, TAG Heuer UK also have 3 of these left in stock.

Great price for that. IMHO one of the best modern Carrera releases in a long time

This made me realize I haven't seen (or thought about) this one in a while. Pretty good price though. Lowest I've seen the standard one on bracelet was 2.5k.

This early-execution 2446C GMT is posted for 6500 US - looks like a decent example, but it isn't priced low enough to tempt me to make a bad decision.
