Steve, just bought a 13-1 myself and done "some" research, I found these originally came on a rubber strap that had a bracelet effect. Apparently they were rubbish and broke super easily 馃榿

It appears that was the standard although know similar Porsche Design and others models came with PVD bracelets.

Hi Daniel-it seems just lately a host of these Ref 13s seem to have crept out of the woodwork!
Interesting about the strap-I can just about see it could be from the catalogue, but certainly haven't come across one in reality. The one you bought, was it the KONI one in the end?
Best,
Steve

A few reference 12's have come up as well, which are even rarer.

I did buy the Koni one in the end from Mark and is currently on its way to me. It's got many elements that just suited me and I believe the price was great based on others on the market. Currently thinking about recasing it if I can find a decent one or NOS.....but at the same time it wears its life on the case, so to speak.

I like you thought it was a PVD bracelet until I did some more reading, and think Stewart Morley even had an original rubber strap which he sold with his ref 12 years ago.

I wouldn't be surprised at all is Stewart did have one! I noticed the Heuer 100 had one too-

Interesting about the KONI one too-I think case options come up from time to time if you wanted to go down that route-I recall an NOS one on Ebay some time ago-I don't think it's still there now though....

Hadn't seen the Heuer 1000 one before and had never seen an actually strap in that detail so appreciate the link Steve!

Yeah I'll keep searching for a case as and a rubber strap that looks like the original just for fun.

Now considering getting the Jack Heuer edition Autavia having tried the prototype on last night....not vintage but only 1932 pieces being made makes it quite cool I think.
