Can anyone please advise me if the Tag Heuer WAH111C model stainless steel bracelet be replaced with rubber band bracelet?

Yes, I am pretty sure it will be 20mm lug so a BT0714 will fit and they aren't too expensive.

Is there any way to remove scratches from the bezel?

I found out the catalogue for WAH111C. In the catalogue, it says Bezel is Titanium Carbide. But if you look for the description in some online shops website, it says Bezel is stainless steel. I am confused because I recently bought this model from ebay (pre-owned) and it is S.S . Is the S.S one fake? Because if bezel is titanium carbide finish, it should look more greyish.

Even in this pic, bezel looks more greyish finish.

I don't honestly see anything glaringly wrong... if you are concerned you can return it to TAG and they will verify it for you.

It actually says it is titanium carbide coated. Maybe it's been polished previously and taken the coating off?

Not sure, please take a look at the description in here. I found this in a different website. It says bezel is S.S

Could it not be both stainless steel and carbide coated? The other option is simply that the marketing material/specs are wrong (not uncommon).

Yes. Only in graphic pics in the catalogue, the bezel appears to be in carbide finish. The real pics elsewhere looks S.S finish.

To be honest, most websites would take one look at it and just write down stainless steel because it's silver and shiny...

I struggle with the fact that it is polished and coated, that seems an odd combination and implies the coating is transparent and/or very thin?

In here, it is very much evident that it is S.S. So, I think what mentioned in catalogue is not really correct.

The confusion has been sorted out. They are talking about another classic model of the same collection which is coated. This model is polished itself.

Congrats - I like that one. That was my first nice watch. I’ve put it somewhere and can’t find it right now unfortunately!
