TAG Heuer Formula 1 Metal or Rubber Bracelet

Hi

I have been thinking about buying a Formula 1 for everyday wear, I do like the current Green Formula 1 model.

I am undecided between the metal or the rubber bracelet, strap, the price difference is negligible, that is not an issue.
I am more concerned about the wearability and durability of the rubber bracelet.

Has anyone worn a rubber bracelet Tag Heuer? How well do they hold up to use and wear?
What timeframe have you found for their life expectancy?

Also does anyone know if you can order a space bracelet when you buy your Formula 1?

Thanks for any help, still very new to this forum and learning.
I am enjoying reading everyone's comments and learning from other members, thank you.

You can buy a bracelet for a F1, costs about £200 (there's only one main one) - BA0842.

It's probably cheaper to buy the watch with the bracelet and order the rubber, in fact in the current climate you might even be able to persuade the AD to give you the rubber as a freebie.

I haven't tried the new rubber straps, but all the ones I have have been very comfortable and seem pretty robust. Some are too long though, which may be an issue if you have a small wrist.

Excellent information thank you Aquagraph,

just to clarify, between the two watches the bands are interchangeable?

Thank you for your help.

I wouldn't worry about durability, I have the rubber for my Aquaracer and it feels well made and I am pretty certain it will last a very long time

Yes, of course they are interchangeable, although you need a special tool to switch them without scratching the watch.

As @Aquagraph told you, it’s usually cheaper to buy the watch on the bracelet and then buy the rubber strap as an accessory. To be sure, you could ask your AD about the price of the watch on rubber strap + the bracelet as an accessory, or the watch on the bracelet + the rubber strap as an accessory
