TAG Heuer teased this yesterday on Instagram, so it seems like it's about time to start the discussion.

Looking forward to seeing this one . . . the embargo is lifted in two hours.

These look cool and I'm looking forward to trying them on. But even in titanium, nearly $5k US for a 7750 chrono is just silly. These'll be sub-$2k in a couple months, and might be a fun pickup then.

Bezel grip detailing is nice. Presumably this is the redbull edition:

The black Ti wears really, really well I have to say. And the dial has some very nice sunked subdials and applied markers. Which makes it an even worse shame that鈥檚 it鈥檚 so overpriced.

Red Bull (and the non-coated Ti models) is OK but not my jam

I think they're cool. If choosing colors, I'd probably opt for one of these two. (Pic credit: Fratello)

I really want to check out the blue one when it drops, but so far it's definitely the red / black. I didn't even try on the regular red, it didn't pop in the case.

Me too.

Those neo-vintage TAGs from the '80s & '90s are the sweet spot size for my wrist.馃槈

I am liking these. Pricing aside, I really like them.

While 44mm is larger than I prefer, I noticed the lug to lug is only 47mm, which should make these more wearable in practice. Having said that, the strap does look to be on the longer side. Which is another concern, aside from the price.

It is a proprietary strap, and I'll confess that I didn't really focus on the length of it, etc. But I also noticed in the photos that it's a bit long for a 6-7/8 inch wrist. The watch itself was a great fit on my skinny wrist.

^And Monochrome hints at a Senna Edition! ::psy::
It seems to me that this will be a "base" model, that will be excellent for limited and special editions . . . lots of good ways to incorporate colors, etc. I thought it interesting that on the Red Bull SE there was no reference to Red Bull on the dial, but only "Oracle Red Bull" on the case-back. Easy to imagine them doing a Senna edition . . . just add some green and yellow, and maybe some red!!

I'm curious -- what are the choices in titanium chronographs at the $2,000 price point? I honestly don't know. I'm familiar with Tudor and Oris models in the $4K to $5K range, but are there any major Swiss brands hitting the $2,000 price point?

Yeah, these are definitely the up-market CAZ lineup that they can issue variations of to their 潭h潭e潭a潭r潭t潭s潭 bank accounts content. Lots of different elements they can change the colour of to match a theme.
