Hello all,

I have recently acquired a Tag Heuer 472.513 which overall looks in great condition, just some loose hands which I would try to refit.

When I opened up the case I did struggle to find some info about the exact movement which remains very obscure, the RH50-51-52

Does anyone have any documentation about it and knows how to pull the stem out of the movement ? I can’t seem to find any lever or anything to push to take it out. I don’t want to force the stem out either and break it.

That's a coincidence. I'm wearing this model today. I did a little research on the movement. It was used briefly by TH. So no success story. As far as I know, the manufacturer is still unknown. Mine runs fine. I also read that it is a drama for a watchmaker to work on the movement. As a precaution, I bought a spare movement. Good luck with the renovation.

One of the reasons I've shied away from getting one of these is its movement seems prone to failure. They're complex and quite hard to source parts for from what I've read.

I'm just an amateur when it comes to watch repair, but normally the crown release is close to the crown stem. Did you try pushing on the spots that I circled below already?

Also, it looks to me like the stem for the minutes register might be snapped, rather than the hand just coming off the stem.

Just my 2 cents, I'm certainly no expert on this watch or its movement. Good luck!

Lovely example this is ! Wanted one for ages and found one on eBay for a not too bad price, though I knew about potential issues if a proper repair was needed. Worst case scenario I will return it. But damn this watch looks so good ! Hopefully I’ll reach to remove the stem, fix the hands and enjoy it
