Off topic now, but for the record I've nothing against Speedmasters. Actually got this one hopefully turning up in the post tomorrow! But yes, I think they released too many also.

Thanks. Will investigate ultrasonic cleaners. Didn't realise you could get cheap domestic versions. I may just swap the bracelet out for a leather strap, though initially 😀

Some of the color palettes on the Speedmaster Professional have been pretty cool IMO. The blue-dial Gemini IV and the titanium Apollo XI 45th Anniversary are both a lot of fun to wear!
Though I do hope we're done with the different Sides of the Moon too. The original was really cool, but it's getting a bit ridiculous now

I do like that one a lot. I am also on the look out for a lightly used numbered edition FOIS at a reasonable price. I nearly snagged one a week or so ago but it sold to somebody else moments before I could get my offer in.

That one's somewhat interesting, not for me though. Besides, I just picked up a 2005 Gemini IV limited edition, which is enough of a blue Speedmaster to last me a while. Still, good luck!

Well it arrived and leather strap is on. Bracelet doesn't look dirty at all in real life but I am probably going to invest in an ultrasonic cleaner once the wallet recovers. 😀

Yeah, I'd just taken a picture in daylight so it was fresh when I took the second in a darker spot.
