Great post David! Any one of these is really a winner. As you said, maybe we'll even get lucky and get two. 馃榾

The compression case draws it further from the Carrera. It adds a bit of variety.

Exactly, that and its beautiful aesthetics is why it's my pick.

I think @D.C should host a poll; after all, the final decision should be made by the top Tag Heuer community 馃槜

4th finalist, the "Fantasy Rindt"; time is running out, make sure to place your vote today.

Surely it's a sign- today is Rindt's birthday. He would have been 74.

And next year would be the perfect date to celebrate the platinum jubilee at 75.

Well the 2446 Mk.III is the only one left for us to vote for, until 6/16, so does that mean it won?

EDIT: YES IT DOES!

Oh damn, I'ma buy that

Before everyone gets mad, I'd like to share a couple thoughts:

One, the 2446 Mk.III is the Autavia that TAG should be reissuing. It's the model most important to their motorsport heritage, and it's beautiful!

But, two - I don't think that this one likely received more votes than the Fantasy Pandas, so I wonder if TAG knew all along which one they'd reissue (an idea that had been floated before). Still, I think that we'll probably see something along those lines once TAG begins to expand the Autavia line.

I'm personally just over the moon that it's not a compressor case! Wooo! Subtle beauty wins this one!

Well that's the one I voted for (yay) so I guess that means I know my 2017 watch purchase. Just hope they keep it original size now! 馃榾

I also think something like this may have happened. Either way any of those finalists was a winner. As David said, maybe we'll even get lucky and get the reversed color as well next year.

I don't know what the final votes were, but TAG Heuer was quite upfront that they would choose the winner, not the public vote.

Maybe we're lucky that Boaty McBoatface wasn't an option 馃槈

Ah OK, I wasn't sure by now what the original rules were. Good on TAG for choosing the right one!

Yes, no surprise there. Regardless, it was a nice way of generating excitement and pulling the community together. Now the waiting begins.

TAG made the right choice of model, now we'll cross our fingers and they make the right choice with regard to size, and resist the temptation to up-size it from its perfect original dimensions.

I don't think the original size will make it. I think TH will use the CH80 or another of their current automatic Calibres that will require larger dimensions and proportions.
