Might've been, that sucker was locked in tight! Just glad I got it off, was deathly afraid of breaking the screw head.

But I can't imagine trying your flame technique on a watch, especially on a screw so close to the leather and movement! 馃槻
My bad, my experience only is applicable to bracelet screws.

Just for clarity, this is what the screws look like on the 6000 leather straps. No way of heating up that area without a high risk of damage.

Not really. I used to collect TAG some years ago but sold them off to buy higher end watches. Now that I'm retired, and don't wear watches like I used to, I sold some to start up a new collection. Almost all of the TAGs will probably never be worn. Just admired. Went on a shopping spree to get back to where I was. Slowing down now and looking for the good deals only.

When I was working, I would often change watches daily. Now, not so much so I sold off the lesser worn watches.

Aha. I only wear them on weekends. My work doesn't allow it. I'm not retired yet.

Thanks Jemagloh, now I've got a strap that's comfy it makes all the difference... although it looks a bit cheap and nasty (cos it is).

I already sent TH an email asking if the blue color of the FT8105 matches the blue of the WBY1112. It would be weird if this were the case, but you never know. And also when available.
