20 years later everyone’s doing salmon dials..Heuer Carrera Re-Edition. I need one of these Photo by @jerxeer
If I was doing the Siffert again I’d definitely think about using those hands in blue..maybe too much? Be fun to play around with it
This is the one I would like. Failed to pull the trigger s couple of these in last couple of years and regret it
I didn’t realize the 1163 Siffert came with and without blue lumed hands. The first editions including the Chromomatic had plain hands and I think I prefer it that way. Let’s see some photoshop skills though.
I never noticed that they gave this watch that kind of "patina" on the hands and indices. Looks cool now, but what will it look like in 20 years with real patina on top of faux patina?
Yes, the faux aged lume is very controversial. I personally don't care for it. As you said, I hope it doesn't age too bad as decades pass.
My “Modular Collection” is growing The mechanical module Carrera Calibre 5 is the last addition, and it looks great. A very nice complement to the Calibre 16 Chronograph
Congrats, really impressed with your collection! In pictures the cal5 module seems to have a bit too much empty dial space, what are your thoughts regarding this?
