·I saw the new Twin Time in the boutique the other day and have to say that it looks as bad in the metal as it does in the pictures. I'm pretty certain this is down to my dislike of the skeleton dial and Mickey Mouse sized bezels of recent Carreras and not the specifics of the T-T design. Anyway, glad you guys like it. We can't all like the same watches!
I also glanced at the Aston Martin Carrera and it looked underwhelming. I may pop in another day and ask them to get it out of the display case though for a closer look.

However, under normal lighting conditions and when you actually wear it, all the reflective surfaces become subdued and everything comes together in the way the designers intended it to be appreciated.

So despite the huge case diameter increase, the lugs of the calibre 16 are actually shorter than the original?
The lugs also seem much rounder. Tell tale sign of a polished watch on vintage pieces so not desirable on a new carrera imo.
