The very underrated TAG Heuer Targa Florio by @derfaber Any love for these?

I've always liked the dial but I can't get over the decorated bezel. It's a bit too fussy for my liking.

I can see this style coming back! Just a few adjustments to make it look a bit vintage. For example, an aged metallic bronze would look great. Similar to what other brands, like Zenith, are doing.

Very cool, have not seen it before I think. Got some googling to do!

Edit: really odd that they made a re-release of a pilot's watch and marketed it as a motor sports timepiece

Bronze cases are a real fad, IMO.

I can't see the appeal myself. Sometimes they look nice when they are new, but I don't get these people that put them in plastic bags with eggs to make them tarnish... 😵‍💫

Prior to these Zenith models, I really never cared for them, but these changed my opinion.

These appeal to me very much. Especially the flyback chronometer. It reminds me very much of the Heuer Bundeswehr.
