My enthusiasm for the brand has rubbed off on my watch buddy at work. The red dial version is pretty awesome and looks great on his custom Veblenist strap.

Yeah, I took it at an angle plus the date is very deep in the watch - cyclops set into the dial.

One needs to be a fan of the Porsche 936 "Black Widow" to appreciate the color scheme.

Porsche Design actually made an homage watch for the 936 Black Widow. Perhaps this is where the Monza owner got the idea from.

It's part of the set for that Porsche 936 watch, probably hard to find sold separately. Lots of 3rd party Martini straps out there, mostly NATO. Although you could have Outlawstraps custom make one for your PD, like the Monza owner did.

The PD strap looks like a NATO, but it actually isn't.
