Thanks DC. But I'd like to point out that this text from your article leaves the strong impression that it might be either Heuer or TAG Heuer, giving the reader no indication of the probability either way.
"What is impossible to tell is whether the Bond watch is likely to be a Heuer or a TAG Heuer- The Living Daylights began production in 1986, just after the time that TAG had purchased Heuer. This meant that for a period of time there were both TAG Heuer and Heuer versions of the same watches still being sold."
However, with the Blu-Ray images of the Night Diver on Bond and Felix Leiter, I think it's fairly clear in some shots that the shape of the logo is "Heuer". This shot from my DVD even looks like the Heuer shape.
While perhaps not enough for 100% certainty, these images and the fact that other Heuer watches are in the movie point to a very high probability of it being "Heuer". (E.g. the Heuer Airline GMT is 100% visible as branded Heuer).
When you have time, it might be nice to update your article again, as the new Night Diver Aquaracer has renewed interest on this topic. https://www.calibre11.com/bond-tag-heuer/馃榾
