Strange isn’t it, how preferences differ? I would find it unnatural to have the winder facing up my arm. As with my Monaco, I chose the Calibre 12. If I’d gone for the Heuer Calibre 11, I would feel the need to wear it on my right. Perhaps I could wear one on each wrist?! 😲
Do you use the crown when watch is on wrist? From a practical perspective it doesn't matter where I have the crown, I only operate it when the watch is in hand not on wrist

That's so awesome having both versions! Since it's not clear whether Timothy Dalton wore the Heuer or TAG Heuer branded Night Diver, for sure you can say 100% you own the Dalton 007 Night Diver. You have it covered either way. 👍

Well done once again👍 Interesting that the Heuer is quartz and the TAG heuer is not labeled as such

I'm not sure, but my guess is that the watch Timothy Dalton wore in the movie was probably a Heuer watch.

That's because if the filming began in 1985, I don't think there would have been any Tag Heuer watches.

What do you think?

In the film Felix Leiter also wears the night diver. From this shot I believe this is a Heuer model because the logo appears broader than the TAG Heuer logo.

Honestly, I couldn't care less. It's a super cool watch - James Bond wearing it doesn't even make it 1% cooler in my opinion.

According to Wikipedia, filming began on Sept 17th, 1986. So either Heuer or TAG Heuer was possible. I suppose it might depend on when and where the prop master attained the watches. My gut tells me it might be Heuer. But it's just my feeling because the watches were known as Heuer for so long up until TAG acquired them in '85, so I suspect the brand Heuer would've been more familiar to the prop master.

There appears to be shadows on that area, so I really can't see it. You must have good eyes!

I did a frame by frame pause of my Blu Ray Living Daylights of that scene. I do believe you're right in that it's the Heuer version. By watching the various frames, I could see past the shadows and the logo does indeed look broader.

Furthermore, I examined the opening sequence, I'm convinced with 90% certainty that 007's Night Diver is also a Heuer. This pic is actually from the DVD (my PC doesn't have a Blu Ray player), the broader shape of the Heuer logo is visible.

Thanks to @Snowy's side by side photo, another clue is the Heuer version has a black date background, where as the TAG Heuer version's date is white with black numbers. In the photo above, the date window appears black.

The facts that have just been revealed are very important. This fact is likely to be a feature article in the news, and it makes the Heuer version of the watch even more valuable😉

Congratulations😀

There is only one thing I want to add😁
There are both black and white versions of the calendar disc colors. Also, there seems to be a lot of individual difference in whether it has 1000 logos or quartz on the dial.

Probably, the background of this chaos is that Heuer made watches by collecting various parts in the waves of quartz shock.
