Plenty of modern cars, especially smaller displacement turbos, pipe a fake sound in through the car's speakers because they can't compete with the natural sound of a large displacement V8.

·Many years ago I drove a Clio(test drive) that could be made to sound like a bike through the speaker, make electric cars sound like an engine with a crank knock.
